NEW – LITTLE OWL EXPLORERS
Little Owl Explorers
Our Little Owl Explorers sessions are specially designed for younger, home-educated children who love animals, nature, and learning through hands-on experiences. The sessions are lead by Jade, a friendly and engaging team member who has worked with us for many years. The sessions allow each child to be accompanied by one adult for the session.
Set in the heart of our farm park, these small-group sessions give children the opportunity to explore the world around them in a fun, relaxed and engaging environment—while building confidence, curiosity and new skills.
What to Expect
Each session is carefully planned around a weekly theme, with a mix of practical activities and guided learning. Children will:
Meet and care for a variety of friendly farm animals
Take part in hands-on activities such as feeding, grooming and simple farm tasks
Learn about animal diets, habitats and life cycles
Explore the farm environment through games, crafts and discovery activities
Build confidence, independence and social skills in a supportive group setting
Learning Through Play
Our sessions are designed to gently support key areas of the curriculum, including:
Science (animals, habitats, life cycles)
Maths (counting, sorting, measuring)
Communication and language
Personal, social and emotional development
All learning is delivered in a natural, play-based way—perfect for young learners.
Session Details
Age Group: 5–8 years
Group Size: Small groups (maximum 12 children)
Duration: 1 ½ hours
Format: 5-week term-time courses
Location: Little Owl Farm Park, Worcestershire
Price: £12 per week or £50 for a block week of 5.
The sessions allow each child to be accompanied by one adult for the session.
